The short version

Fix Photo Dates runs entirely on your own computer. Your Apple ID and password are sent directly to Apple over an encrypted HTTPS connection to download your photos. We operate no server that ever sees or stores your Apple credentials, your photos, or your library.

What the app collects

Nothing. The app has no analytics and no account system. Your photos and your Apple login never reach us — they stay strictly between your PC and Apple.

What this website collects

Standard server logs (IP address, browser type) kept briefly for security and troubleshooting. The site uses affiliate links (Amazon Associates) and a payment provider (Stripe); those services may set their own cookies and have their own privacy policies. We do not sell your data or run intrusive advertising trackers.

Payments & licence delivery

Purchases are processed by Stripe, which handles your payment details and email address — we never see or store your card. After payment we generate your licence key and email it to you via our email provider (Resend). We keep your purchase email and licence record so we can deliver, support, and validate your purchase.

Licence activation (device limit)

To stop one licence being shared across many machines, when you activate Pro the app sends your licence key together with a one-way fingerprint of your device — a hash derived from your machine, not your name, your files, or any readable personal detail — to our activation endpoint. We store only this fingerprint, purely to count how many devices a key is used on. No photos, credentials, or personal content are involved.

Data retention

We keep your purchase email, licence record, and device fingerprint for as long as your licence is active and for as long as accounting and tax law require. You can ask us to delete them sooner (see your rights below).

Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete the personal data we hold — essentially your purchase email and licence. To exercise any right, email hertcombussines@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
